Industry-leading Winn Group has a new opportunity for a BI/Data Analyst to join our in-house IT & Change Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, scrutinising, designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, in line with Winn Group requirements and projects, along with associated MI to quantity KPI’s within the Group.

Job Description

Your duties will include:

  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain BI solutions
  • Build and maintain effective tools for interaction with 3rd parties
  • Building and analysis of MI to track and monitor performance through KPI’s
  • Developing new and existing projects and document templates
  • Working with IT and Group users on technical and development projects as required by the business and to agreed timescales
  • Provide support for all BI solution and case management related issues, including liaising with 3rd party suppliers
  • Ensure that documentation is kept up to date once implementation work is complete
  • Assist where necessary with any training requirements and materials arising from new/amended BI/Data Projects
  • Keep up to date with technical knowledge and industry developments
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used
  • To uphold the Core Values of Winn Group
  • Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it

Person Specification

The successful candidate must commit to upholding the company’s core values, Integrity, Respect, Loyalty and Reliability and ensure that they are demonstrated throughout their working practice. You should be a hardworking, confident team player and possess the relevant attributes outlined below:

  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel, XML/JSON/Python programmes
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to think outside the box
  • Able to work on projects alone or as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of Proclaim case management system is desirable but not essential
  • Implementation and maintenance of BI solutions and programmes
  • Experience of Project Management and working towards tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple jobs simultaneously and prioritise accordingly
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Able to demonstrate strong work ethic and effective communication
  • Problem solving initiative and a solutions-focused approach
