A Microsoft/Sharepoint Developer for a leading North East firm requiring 3 years’ experience. The successful candidate will join our IT and Change team to further enhance our existing internal and 3rd party/client facing applications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with proven prior experience and, if possible, an understanding of working in a legal environment to shape the development landscape within the organisation.

Job Description

You will be responsible for all aspects of SharePoint and Nintex Workflow development as well as utilisation of the Microsoft office 365 suite, including integration projects with third party software and applications. Your duties will include:

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the internal SharePoint and intranet site, Microsoft Office 365 applications and new business solutions.
  • Building and analysis of Nintex Workflows and forms across the Group.
  • Working on SharePoint Solutions.
  • Delivering Microsoft Office365/SharePoint/Azure based solutions.
  • Working on various development projects as required by the business and to agreed timescales.
  • Responsible for prioritising workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure that documentation is kept up to date once implementation work is completed.
  • Keep up to date with technical knowledge and industry developments.

Person Specification

The successful candidate must commit to upholding the company’s core values, Integrity, Respect, Loyalty and Reliability and ensure that they are demonstrated throughout their working practice. You should also possess the relevant attributes and experience outlined below:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 development, skills including, Azure, .net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience of developing SharePoint and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) with React and TypeScript.
  • Extensive knowledge of the implementation and development of Office 365 products.
  • Microsoft Power Platform and/or Nintex Workflow platform for process automation.
  • Knowledge of SQL database structures and design.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with enthusiasm to learn the mechanics of complex case management system and business processes.
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to think outside the box.
  • Ability to work on projects alone or as part of a team.
  • Able to work out of hours as and when required for urgent development work/project implementation.
