Graduate Paralegal

Salary: £18,000 – £22,000
We are looking to recruit a number of Paralegals to our leading North East firm. These roles are suitable for graduates who are seeking employment within a law firm.
Training will be fully provided on site. The role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to undertake internal Training Contracts or ACL training and qualify as a Solicitor or Costs Lawyer.

Job Description
Vehicle Damage Team Legal Clerk:
- Maximise income per case through recovery of hire, repairs, and recovery and storage.
- Preparing the case thoroughly, ensuring we obtain evidence in support of impecuniosity.
- Making the appropriate arguments in relation to hire recovery.
Personal Injury Specialist Fee Earner:
- Ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation.
Group Trainee Debt Recovery Paralegal:
- Maintain an active case load with the aim of ensuring maximum debt recovery.
- Responsible for a caseload of debt recovery matters, negotiating and monitoring payment plans, carrying out residency and other searches.
- Assess Debtors’ ability to pay, Issuing Part 7 and Part 8 Proceedings.
- Make Applications, Preparing schedules and other Court documents, Liaising with High Court Enforcement, Liaising with Legal teams and other businesses within Winn Group.
