Winn Solicitors would like to thank Richard Wall for his hard work, as he celebrates his 10th anniversary with the company.
Starting his Winns career as a junior in the Costs department, Richard has proven to be an invaluable member of the team. Richard moved up the ranks to become a Costs Draftsman; now entering his second decade with the firm, he continues to enjoy the challenges and responsibilities of his role.
“When I first started, I started as a Junior in the Costs Department. I've stayed here the whole time but moved up,” explains Richard. “Drafting bills is important. If the bills don’t get sent out the costs won’t get paid. Drafting bills is an important part of the cashflow cycle.”
Richard is clearly invested in his work and his colleagues in the Costs Department. Team spirit is one of the reasons why he has stayed with Costs for so long.
“There’s a definite family atmosphere in the Costs Department. There are some strong personalities within the Team so there’s never a dull moment! We all work well together; everybody appreciates how their own individual roles contribute to the wider objectives of the Department.”
So, after ten years with Costs, what's next for Richard?
“I'm happy doing what I'm doing. At some point, I might consider enrolling on another professional qualification, but in all honesty, I feel like my work/life balance is spot on right now.”
Speaking about Richard's decade at Winns, Head of Costs Jonathan Frith added;
“Richard has been an integral and stable presence within the Costs Team for ten years now. His hard work ethic and bespoke skillset are a couple of the reasons why we continue to be successful in a challenging environment; I’m very much looking forward to the next ten years!"
