Junior Infrastructure Engineer

We're on the lookout for ambitious individuals to join our IT Team as a Junior Infrastructure Engineer. This role will involve actively participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's computing, server, and network infrastructure. This includes involvement in both existing and new operating systems, as well as gaining expertise in the associated systems.

Responsibilities
- As a Junior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all aspects of Winn Group's infrastructure and services.
- Work collaboratively with the companies Managed Service Partner to support and improve the company’s infrastructure and network.
- Assist with the transition to newer technologies.
- Act as an escalation point for the support team, assisting where required with support queries.
- Involvement in the design, implementation, documentation, and rollout of IT projects.
- Ensure project plans are regularly updated and timescales adhered to.

Skills and Experience
- Experience with Microsoft platforms, including M365, Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and Windows 10 and 11.
- Knowledgeable with virtualisation technologies, particularly VMWare and Azure IaaS.
- Good working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic computer hardware components.
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives.
- Thorough and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment.
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution-focused approach.
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to own personal development.
