We're on the lookout for an ambitious individual to join our HR team as a Group HR Assistant. This role will involve providing a generalist HR and recruitment service to managers and employees across Winn Group. To provide support in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the HR department.

Responsibilities

As a Group HR Assistant, your role will involve both recruitment and generalist HR support.

The duties are as follows:

Recruitment

  • Provide recruitment and resourcing support to Winn Group.
  • Source candidates using a variety of methods with a focus on social media, online job boards and networking.
  • Support Department Heads/Managers with the interview process, ensuring feedback is provided to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Work with the Marketing Department on all aspects of social media recruitment.
  • Carry out group inductions to support the onboarding process.

Generalist HR

  • Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees regarding policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
  • With assistance from the HR Manager support managers in the running of investigation, disciplinary, grievance, and absence management procedures.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers with respect to the informal performance management process.
  • Ensure HR helpdesk queries are dealt with promptly.
  • Carry out exit interviews, collate feedback and update management.
  • To provide support with tasks in the absence of the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.
  • To ensure you uphold the Core Values of Winn Group.
  • Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.

About You

Skills and Experience

  • CIPD Qualified minimum Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in recruitment and onboarding.
  • ·Confident in working with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Confidential, discreet and diplomatic approach.
  • Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives.
  • Experience in demonstrating effective teamwork within a commercial environment.
  • ·Cooperative and flexible approach.
  • Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solutions-focused approach.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Commitment to own personal development.
