Frances Briggs Celebrates Anniversary at Winn Group

Frances Briggs celebrated her work anniversary recently and was duly praised for her dedication and expertise as she raised a glass to a decade at Winn Group.

Starting as First Response Team Admin back in 2015, Frances progressed to Fee Earner, before stints as a Team Leader, then Deputy Head of Pre-Litigation, before assuming her most recent role as Impecuniosity Team Manager.

Management within the department was keen to praise the positive effect she brings to her teams.

Chris Jones, Associate Director and Head of FRT, said: “Frances Briggs has been an invaluable asset to Winns over the past decade. Her dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment have significantly contributed to our success.

“Frances’ innovative thinking and leadership have contributed toward growth within the teams she has been a part of. We are grateful for her years of service and look forward to seeing her continued impact at Winns.”

Paul Hewitson, Deputy Head of FRT, said: “Congratulations, Frances! From your early days, you’ve consistently demonstrated outstanding commitment and talent.

“Your progression from FRT Admin to Fee Earner, Team Leader, then to Deputy Head of Pre-Litigation, and now Impecuniosity Team Manager within FRT speaks volumes about your drive and expertise.

“Thank you for everything you bring to Winns. Here’s to many more years of benefiting from your dedication, insight, and professionalism.”

A great example of the career paths available to those working at Winn Group, Frances has had her hard work and dedication rewarded with a succession of promotions over the years, something she appreciates.

She said: “I’ve been really lucky to experience a whole variety of roles here over the years which I always say has been pivotal in my progression; it helps knowing the roles of different departments and seeing how the claim progresses from start to finish.

“My career has definitely progressed over the last 10 years. I’ve been fortunate to grow and develop here at Winns. I started out as an Admin Assistant, checking spelling mistakes on new claims (in paper form!), and now, looking at where I am today, it feels like quite a journey.

“I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had along the way and proud of how far I’ve come.”

Looking forward to many more years at the organisation, Frances is optimistic about the challenges that lie ahead.

She added: “I’ve continued my career here because of the people, the progression opportunities, and the focus on learning.

“At Winns, there’s a real sense of teamwork and support, which makes it a great environment to grow in. I’ve also been able to develop my skills and take on new challenges, which has been really rewarding.

“What stands out to me most is that Winns is always one step ahead. It’s motivating to be part of a company that’s forward-thinking and committed to both its people and its future.”
