15 Years at Winns – Simon Jackson

'}}

Symbolic of the depth of experience across the company, Simon Jackson has now reached 15 years at Winn Group.

Receiving anniversary champagne, flowers, and vouchers, Simon was complemented by management for the pivotal role he plays in the First Response Team (FRT), supporting the department as Lead Training Officer.

Since starting in 2008, Simon has been part of exponential growth at the company, with FRT driving that as it sailed past 150 employees.

That’s far removed from the earlier days in Simon’s Winns career, and it makes his role as a Training Officer even more influential.

He said: “The fact the company is expanding is a major motivation. We have been recruiting a larger number of staff over the last couple of years and the way we teach new staff has had to adapt to larger groups.

“I, Ben (Marshall), and Alex (Hall) have worked very hard to put a plan in place to make training more effective.

“The satisfaction gained from this has made me want to see the process develop and see staff achieve their full potential.

“You are always learning and getting better at what you do when working here and especially in the First Response Team.

“I expect to see that progression and further development as a core of Winns’ future moving forward.”

We look forward to FRT continuing to benefit from your experience, professionalism, and drive in the years ahead.

Chris Jones, Associate Director – Head of FRT, and Paul Hewitson, Deputy Head

Chris Jones, Associate Director – Head of FRT, and Paul Hewitson, Deputy Head of FRT, said: “It gives us an immense sense of pride to see yet another staff member in FRT reaching 15 years of service, and we couldn't be happier to congratulate Simon Jackson on this milestone with Winns!

“Simon, you are a testament to loyalty and reliability. You hold an enormous amount of respect within FRT.

“From the early days in Admin, whizzing around the office ensuring everyone had the stationary and post they needed, to present days as FRT's Lead Trainer, passing on valuable knowledge and experience, you have always been a team player and you're an important veteran of FRT, equipping and enabling our staff to be their best and successfully fulfil their roles.

“We’d like to thank you for all your hard work and commitment to FRT and Winns. We look forward to FRT continuing to benefit from your experience, professionalism, and drive in the years ahead. Well done!”
