Winns has welcomed senior appointment Deborah Henning, who has joined the firm as Compliance Manager.
Deborah, who is originally from Sunderland, studied law at the University of Essex, before sitting her law society finals at the Guildford branch of the College of Law. Deborah will use her expertise to ensure the smooth operation of service and regulatory processes, reviewing and implementing appropriate practices and procedures in conjunction with Directors.
Prior to joining the team at Winns, Deborah worked at Thompsons Solicitors for 14 years. Heading up the Equal Pay Team at the height of the national equal pay campaign, Deborah is a highly qualified recruit with vast experience of handling large and complex cases.

Prior to her long stretch at Thompsons, Deborah worked for Sintons Law, and, before that, in the commercial sector spending a number of years representing banks and building societies in contested securities, professional negligence and employment matters. Deborah’s wealth of experience and vast legal knowledge spans a wide range of legal disciplines, making her an ideal appointment for her new role at Winns.
