Andrew Campbell and Roshni Miah are the latest Winn employees to be awarded training contracts.
The pair faced tough competition but prevailed and will now start their training in June. Following the announcement, Andrew said he was delighted to see his hard work and effort recognised.
“My career aspirations for a long time now have been to become a Solicitor. I’m delighted to be taking the next steps in my career now I’ve obtained a training contract and I look forward to getting started in the role,” said Andrew, who has been a Legal Clerk in Portal since June 2017.
“I’m delighted that all the hard work from the last six years – four at university and nearly two years working at Winns - has paid off and been recognised.”
Roshni was shocked when she found out but can't wait to get started.
“I couldn’t believe it!” said Roshni, who started at Winns following the completion of her MLaw degree at Northumbria University.
“It was a really good feeling to find out that I had obtained a training contract as I have worked hard to get here. I cannot wait to get stuck in to the training contract and work in the other departments. I knew competition was high and the selection process was of a high standard, so I really regard this as some achievement.”
Jo Amos, Associate Director and Training Principal, said;
“Many congratulations to both Andrew and Roshni. I am sure they will flourish during their period of training and qualify as very competent and dedicated solicitors.
“They have both previously applied for a training contract and I am very pleased that their hard work and persistence has paid off and resulted in a successful outcome.”
