Winn Group duo India Oldham and Patrick Lynch-Brown have started their training contracts as they seek to become fully qualified solicitors.
A two-year timespan will see the pair work in a variety of different departments, learning about different elements of legal processes as part of the claims process.
Culminating in being added to the Solicitors Roll, India, a Senior Fee Earner in Vehicle Damage – Post Litigation, is keen to progress to this next career marker.
She said: “I am very excited to start my training contract. This is a big milestone in my career, and I am one step closer to achieving my goal.
“I expect the training contract to develop my knowledge of the law and understanding of different departments. I believe it will be challenging but very rewarding.
“Since being promoted to Senior, I was encouraged by my Team Leaders to apply for my training contract, which I am very grateful for as I now have the opportunity to progress my career further.”
Patrick, a Fee Earner in the Personal Injury Department, is pleased to get started, having worked towards this for a long time before it was announced.
He said: “Now that it’s here, I’m excited to get started. There’s a lot to learn, but I’m looking forward to throwing myself into it.
“I hope to develop into a confident, competent solicitor who understands both the technical and practical aspects of the role.
“I want to build strong relationships, make meaningful contributions, and grow into someone who can make a real difference within the firm and for its clients.
“Even before starting the training contract, I felt that support through check-ins, clear communication, and a real openness to questions.
