HR: Meet Our New Recruits

'}}

Winn Group’s HR team is expanding, with the introduction of two new members to support the company’s continued expansion.

As the employee headcount moves past 700 and towards a target of 1,000 in the near future, the need for an effective Human Resources department that can support a much larger staff group is essential.

Allwin Alexander and Sohail Alrahi will support HR processes and the delivery of our varied and wide-ranging training programs that encourage our employees to develop and enhance their skills, regardless of job title.

Laura Todd, Group HR Manager said: "Allwin has joined the team as a Learning & Development Assistant and is working closely with Bradley, our Learning & Development Officer.

“This comes at a great time when we are focusing on training and development across Winn Group.

"Sohail has joined the team as an HR Officer and will be working alongside our HR team and supporting our HR projects and goals.

“Welcome aboard Allwin and Sohail! We look forward to you being part of the HR team and are delighted to have you with us.”

We took a few moments to catch up with the pair, to see how they felt about their new adventure here at Winn Group:

What have you enjoyed about your experience here so far?

Allwin: I enjoy my collaborative, workplace environment and the opportunity to work with talented and passionate people.

Sohail: The people. Since I started, everyone in my team has been so friendly, helpful, and supportive. I already feel like an established member of the team. I have also found my line manager (Laura Todd) incredibly supportive and that has reinforced that I can take things at my own pace without rushing to get up and running along with the rest of the team. This level of support has helped reinforce that I made the right decision to leave my old employment and come to Winn Group.

What will you look to bring to the company?

Allwin: To learn more and more from the versatile source of knowledge and implement the same for the prosperity of the company.

Sohail: Having worked in HR for a while, I hope to bring all the knowledge and experience that I have gained to date to my new role. I am hopeful that I can support our managers to make fair and effective decisions with well-informed and empathetic advice.

Are you excited about your new role?

Allwin: I am excited about the opportunity to use my skills to help the company achieve its goals, in the long term, I'm looking forward to continued learning. I feel like I have grown and learned a lot recently, but there's so much I still want to learn and experience.

Sohail: I am very excited about my new role and I am very happy I decided to join the company. I look forward to increasing my knowledge base at the organisation and making Winn Group a better place to work for all employees.
