Following her success as a Team Leader in the Clerks Department, Steph Doughty has been promoted to the role of Manager of the Portal Team.

Steph, from North Shields, joined Winns as a Solicitor in May 2010, after completing her Law degree at Huddersfield University, and her LPC at Northumbria. She started off in the Trials Team and in 2013, she became LVI Team Leader in the Clerks Department, before being promoted to her current role.

As Manager of the Portal Team, Steph will be responsible for a team consisting of 23 Fee Earners and three Team Leaders. She will oversee the team, develop efficiency strategies and assist Jo Amos with management duties across the Clerks Department as a whole, including HR issues, strategies and procedures.

Steph said;

“I am very much enjoying my new role within the Clerks Department and am pleased that my hard work and commitment have been recognised. I look forward to the challenges this role will bring and to working with the whole team to develop and build this side of the business.”
