Two of the On Hire team have been celebrating after earning promotions within the department.
Part of the Winn Group umbrella of companies, On Hire has been expanding its team, with Lauren Cummings becoming a Senior Case Handler, having previously been a Case Handler, and Daisy Saddington progressing to Team Leader from a Senior Case Handler position.
Michael Stuart, Head of On Hire, praised the pair, saying: “As a department, On Hire is expanding in line with the rapid growth of Winn Group as a whole.
“This is allowing for great progression opportunities within the team and I am looking forward to working with my fantastic team to achieve our goals.
“Congratulations to Daisy on securing the position of On Hire Team Leader. It has been great to see Daisy develop her skills over the last few years, and as a result, this promotion was the right step in order for her to continue that development.
“Myself and the rest of the management team are looking forward to seeing how she progresses in her new role.”
When discussing Lauren’s promotion, he said: “Well done Lauren on moving into the Senior Case Handler position. Lauren has shown eagerness to progress and has gained good knowledge of the business after just one year in On Hire. Congratulations!”
Daisy, who has been part of the On Hire team for four years, believed this promotion was the natural next step for her career.
She said: “I’ve done pretty much every role in On Hire. I started in admin, then moved to debt when that was still in On Hire, became a case handler and briefly worked with the IT department in developing On Hire systems. I have been supported every step along the way.
“In my new role, I’ll be assisting the On Hire team, ensuring our conversion rate is kept high, while assisting other departments when needed. I will also be training new staff, helping continue the growth of the business.
“After working in On Hire for four years, it felt like it should be the next step for me and my career so I’m very happy that I’ve achieved it.”
Lauren was delighted to receive the news, marking the next step in her career at Winn Group which started just a year ago.
She said: “I was so happy as I have only been here for 12 months. I have always felt fully supported throughout my time at On Hire, in my day to day job and making decisions for myself.
“I feel like my career in On Hire has progressed a lot since my first day. I remember going home thinking I can’t do this job as it was such a change from the NHS!
“I can’t wait to help us as a department hit our targets. I have always been very passionate and driven by hitting my targets, a trait I hope I can pass on to my colleagues.
“I’ve been pushing myself to do more, taking on more responsibilities in my role as a case handler and assisting with the training of our new starters in On Hire - hard work and putting in extra effort pays off!”
