Onhealth has launched a remote workstation assessment scheme, to help home workers adapt to working from home.
As part of its commitment to health and wellbeing, the Winn Group company has introduced the scheme to help companies transition their staff from the office to a home-working environment.
When a company decides to use the service each member of their team who is working remotely will get:
- A video call with remote workstation assessment
- Advice from HCPC medical professionals on how to improve their set-up
- A report submitted to the company’s HR team which details the assessment and advice provided for ongoing, continuous support for the employee.
Ian Scanlan, Director – Head of Onhealth said; “We’ve created this service to offer companies the support and professional guidance they need to ensure employee health and wellbeing.
“Working from home has been thrust upon many this year and often the set-up required for the long-term just isn’t available.
“We’ve seen people working on beds and floors, using a variety of objects as seating. Continued use of these will only lead to musculoskeletal injuries which result in prolonged time off work.”
