She’s been pushed out of a plane but still enjoys working at Winn Group!

Christine Wray recently passed the 10-year marker at the company, celebrating this year by tumbling thousands of feet for charity.

The Legal Secretary was having a casual chat with a colleague about wanting to do a skydive at some point in her life. The Marketing team overheard, created the opportunity as part of the CSR strategy and off Christine went – putting her money where her mouth is!

She said: “I would do another jump given the chance but now I am at a certain age, I don’t know if my heart would take it!

“The skydive was my most memorable moment, but I think Winns is a good place to work and they do look after their staff.

“I would like to say I would be here for 32 years, like in my previous employment, but I don’t think my age will allow me to!

“I am happy working at Winns. The people are lovely and there are always challenges to overcome.”

Central Admin Team Manager Susan Dodgson said: “Christine is a fantastic member of the team and a valued colleague.  

“When you work with someone for 10 years you really get to know them, sometimes better than your own family! 

“Christine always has a smile on her face which spreads across the team. It is a great credit to anyone who reaches the 10-year mark at any company, and I know her efforts are much appreciated by those around her.”
