Winn Group Chief Operating Officer Clint Milnes provided industry insight to Insurance Post and Litigation Futures recently, focusing on the importance of credit hire vehicles in the post road traffic accident claims process. 

Often misunderstood, the use of credit hire vehicles helps thousands of drivers each year to avoid the significant disruption that lands after an accident involving their vehicle. 

In the articles, Milnes said: “Signs of greater collaboration (in the claims sector) are emerging. Horwich Farrelly’s 2025 motor claims report shows a 49% drop in legal costs linked to credit hire since 2023 and a four-day reduction in average hire duration. 

“This suggests the system is becoming more efficient, not less. 

“Credit hire often makes the difference between being stuck and moving forward after a crash. It’s time the narrative caught up with that reality.”
