Adam Robinson and Stephanie Bennett are celebrating after being selected to undertake training contracts at Winn Solicitors.
Adam, from Durham, studied Law at Teeside University and the LPC at the College of Law in York, before joining Winn Solicitors as a Legal Clerk, working in both the Portal and Vehicle Damage Teams. In his new role as Trainee Solicitor, Adam will remain in the Vehicle Damage Team for the foreseeable future, where he will gain further experience in litigation.
Adam explains;
“I am very happy to have secured a training contract with Winns, especially given the high level of competition. I found the application process to be very thorough.”
He added;
“Working at Winns is great - I enjoy the challenges and the quick pace.”
Steph, from Crook, studied the four-year MLaw Exempting degree at Northumbria University, before joining the firm as a Legal Clerk in August 2014. As a Trainee Solicitor, Steph will work in the Portal Team, dealing with personal injury claims and some elements of credit hire.
Steph said;
“I am excited to commence my training contract and all of the challenges and achievements it will bring.”
She added;
“My career ambition is to be a Solicitor and the training contract is the last piece to the puzzle. Upon qualifying I wish to progress within the firm and deal with more complex claims with intricate issues. Winns has provided excellent opportunities for me and in my time here I have already developed greatly. I enjoy working in a professional environment, with fantastic people.”
Steph Doughty, Manager of the Portal Team said;
“Congratulations to Adam and Steph on obtaining training contracts – it is a fantastic achievement. They have both proved themselves to be real assets to the Clerks Team and Winn Solicitors as a whole. We look forward to seeing them progress as Trainee Solicitors.”
