The new chosen charity for Financial Year 27 has been decided!

Thanks to your votes, our new charity of the year is the Children’s Heart Unit Fund.

Located at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital and its Children’s Heart Unit, the charity aims to support innovative services that will positively affect children receiving treatment there.

This charity will be the focus of our fundraising initiatives throughout the financial year, with our summer fundraising event, annual quiz night, and corporate golf day just some of the events that will raise money for this great cause.

It replaces our previous chosen charity, the Rainbow Trust, which, through the course of Financial Year 26, benefitted from £12,537.88 in fundraising by Winn Group staff.

Alicia Cloivis-Mothalib, Chuf Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “Chuf is absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as Winn Group’s charity of the year 2026-27.

“A heartfelt thank you goes to every staff member who voted to support heart heroes and their families when it matters most.

“We know the team is full of enthusiasm for supporting their community; funds raised throughout this partnership will directly support those being treated for cardiac conditions in our region.

“We simply couldn’t achieve all that we do without the support of organisations like yourselves, and look forward to welcoming you all to #TeamChuf. Let’s make this a fun and rewarding year for everyone involved!”
