Winn Solicitors staff recently helped fellow employee, Jo Amos, raise money for Cancer Research UK by dressing up for Easter! Staff raised £148 and the Directors kindly added an additional £198, the grand total raised was £346.

Jo Amos is part of a team of 17 aiming to run (not cycle) the Coast to Coast route from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. They start early on Saturday 10th May in Whitehaven, with everyone doing the first mile together, before smaller groups running in relays then head east to Keswick, over Whinlatter Pass to Penrith, on to Alston via Hartside Pass, across Alston Moor passing Nenthead and Allenheads, then on to Consett, Rowlands Gill, Blaydon, Newcastle and finally Tynemouth - a total of approximately 140 miles. The team will all come together again at the end and run the last mile to Longsands Beach.

The team have a fund raising target of £10,000, which they have successful surpassed and all the money raised is for Cancer Research UK.
