Winns Appoints Training and Development Officer

Congratulations are in order for Kris Brown, who has recently been promoted to the role of Training and Development Officer.

Kris has worked at Winns since May 2016. He originally joined the company as Portal Team Leader, before taking the role of Training and Development Officer in March 2017.

Before working at Winns, Kris undertook a degree in Leadership and Management. He graduated with a first-class BA (hons).

In his new role, Kris will be responsible for designing and delivering training, arranging refresher training on various subjects, formatting previous training, coordinating and arranging training for staff as and when needed, working with departmental managers to consider future training requirements, and keeping a record of training received for individuals.

Kris said;

“Winns is probably one of the most fast-paced companies I have ever worked for – change is a big part of the cultural setup. Since joining the organisation, I have seen many changes impacting various areas of the business, from staff progression opportunities, all the way to changes in processes and procedures, which are likely to continue to develop, due to the reforms affecting us next year. The new role I am in will undoubtedly continue to develop with all of these external and internal factors, however, I hope to make a difference going forward.”

Clint Milnes, Head of Change Management, added;

“We’re delighted that Kris has taken on the role of Training and Development Officer within the company. Not only will Kris help staff to ensure that they are continually refreshing their knowledge, he will also help staff to stay up to date with our fast-changing industry.”
