Winns welcomes Solicitors Lucy Wennington, Jonathan Straughan and Louise Gudgin, who have recently joined the firm.
Lucy, from Teeside, joined Winns after gaining experience as a Paralegal and Solicitor across several well-known organisations including Archers Law, True Solicitors and Durham County Council. Prior to this, Lucy studied Law at Northumbria University.
In her new role, Lucy is working as a Solicitor in the Part 7 Team, dealing with disputed RTA claims.
Lucy said;
“I am delighted to have joined Winns – widely recognised as being a market-leader in personal injury in the North East - at a time when the company is undergoing a period of rapid expansion. I very much look forward to progressing my career with the firm.”
Jonathan, who also studied Law at Northumbria University, worked at Alderson Law LLP prior to joining Winns. During this time, he completed his training contract and specialised in a range of civil litigation matters. He will join Lucy in the Part 7 RTA team.
Jonathan added;
“I’m incredibly excited to join Winns at a time when the firm is experiencing massive growth. Working at Winns will afford me great opportunities to hone my skills and progress my career as a Personal Injury Solicitor.”
Louise, who is originally from Cheshire, studied Law at Newcastle University and took her Solicitor exams at York College of Law. She has previously worked at Harvey & Marron, TLW and Gorman Hamilton. Throughout her career, she has specialised in claimant personal injury work. She has worked as both a Solicitor and Supervisor in the past.
Louise joins the firm as a Solicitor in the Technical Team, specialising in RTA claims.
