Key Return
Welcome to the Winns Key Return Service. You can use this page to register a new key tag or update the details of an existing one.
Anyone that has lost their keys or had them stolen will tell you how much stress and worry it causes.
Our Key Return Service is designed to eliminate this stress and worry as much as possible, giving you the hope that if your keys are found, they can find their way back to you, at no cost.

How does it work?
Each key tag provided to our customers is individually coded with an ID number. Should those keys be lost the finder is invited to post them to our freepost address or contact us for further information. Once we receive your keys they are cross referenced with your details, we will then contact you to confirm the details. Once this is complete the keys are then sent back to you via registered post or courier for added comfort and protection.
In summary:
- Your keys with the unique tag on have been lost or stolen.
- A finder posts them to us via our freepost address or contacts us to make alternative arrangements.
- We contact you and perform an authenticity check via the coded ID number on your key tag.
- We send your keys back to you using registered post or courier.

Terms & Conditions of Use
General Terms
All transactions relating to the Key Return Service shall be governed by the following terms and conditions. In consideration for the activation of the Key Return Service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Key Return Service is only available within the United Kingdom. Users of the Key Return Service remain at all times responsible for the safety, security and usage of their key tag and must notify us immediately of any loss or theft of their key tag.
Contact Records
To enable us to make contact with you should your keys be returned to us, we need to have certain information available about you. This information is kept secure and is not released to any other organisation, please view our privacy policy. It is important that you notify us immediately of any changes, including but not limited to changes in your address, telephone number and email address, you can do this by e-mailing us at keyreturn@winnsolicitors.com or contacting us by telephone or in writing. If this information is not kept up to date it may result in us being unable to return your keys to you.
Recovery and Return of Keys
Attach the tag to the keys that you want protected. If your keys are lost and then found, the “finder” only needs to put them in an envelope and post them to our freepost address or they can contact us to make alternative arrangements. We will then contact you by telephone and after asking you a few simple questions to identify the keys they will be returned to you using Royal Mail special delivery or via courier. The Key Return Service will cover the cost of postage/carriage to have your keys safely returned to you. Once posted we will not accept any responsibility or pay compensation for any delivery not made by Royal Mail.
The Key Return Service is NOT
Responsible for any item removed from the key ring before being returned to them or damaged keys or remotes or any other item attached that is returned to them.
Responsible for return of keys lost outside the United Kingdom.
Miscellaneous
You expressly agree that use of the Key Return Service is at your sole risk. We cannot warrant that this service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
