We are on the lookout for ambitious individuals to join our Vehicle Damage Post Litigation as Apprentice Legal Assistants.

This role would involve assisting in the administration of cases within the Vehicle Damage Post Litigation team, ensuring that cases are progressed efficiently and effectively.

As part of the role, you will also complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • As an Apprentice Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring cases are progressed by providing administrative support to Fee Earners.
  • Accept and make ad hoc telephone enquiries from and to clients, stakeholders and third parties regarding claims within the department.
  • Deal with ad hoc chasing tasks from and to clients, stakeholders and third parties regarding claims.
  • Deal with banking of BACS and any associated tasks concerning banking.
  • Assist in clearing balances to allow the file to be closed promptly.

Competitive Base Salary of £17,140.50 based on 37.5 hours per week.

About You

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 5 GCSEs, grade 4 and above (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives.
  • Experience in demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment.
  • Cooperative and flexible approach.
  • IT literate.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and methodical approach.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
