We are on the lookout for ambitious individuals to join our Accounts Payable team as Apprentice Accounts Payable Assistant.
Alongside studying a Level 3 in Business Administration, this role will involve assisting in the administration and processes required to ensure supplier invoices for Winn Solicitors and On Hire are allocated correctly and in a timely manner allowing the Group Accounts Payable Clerks to process them.

Responsibilities
- As an Apprentice Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for reviewing supplier invoice mailboxes and re-direct them to the relevant automated platforms.
- ·Reviewing mailbox for queries, deal with less complex queries and allocate others to the team.
- Processing and keep up to date with engineer and estimate fee mailboxes.
- Supporting other group department queries relating to supplier invoices.
What We Offer
Working Hours
This role is full-time, based on 37.5 hours per week. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5.00 pm.
We are also fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle.

Skills and Experience
- 5 GCSE’s. grade 4 and above (or equivalent).
- Ability to plan and prioritise.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- ·Good organisational skills and methodical approach.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Cooperative and flexible approach.
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution-focused approach.
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
- ·Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- ·Commitment to own personal development.
