We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our IT and Change team as a Business Readiness Analyst. This is a pivotal role in driving the successful transition of change initiatives into business (BAU) operations.

In this role you will be the strategic bridge between IT change delivery and operational execution. You will lead readiness planning, benefits validation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure that every change is not only implemented but embedded and embraced across the business.

This role sits at the heart of our IT Change lifecycle, championing best practice in change adoption and ensuring that business benefits are realised and sustained.

Responsibilities

  • As a Business Analyst (IT and Change) , you will lead and coordinate all readiness activities across IT and business teams.
  • Assess risks and impacts of change on people, processes, and systems, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of implementations and post-implementation artefacts to support audit readiness.
  • Continuously improve readiness and adoption processes to reduce failure rates and increase efficiency.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring visibility, feedback, and ownership of change adoption.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and department heads to validate benefits, support training, and monitor KPIs.
  • Uphold governance standards, particularly around Operational Readiness Measures.
  • Any additional tasks assigned by your manager that align with your full job description.

Working Hours

This role is full-time, based on 35 hours per week. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

This role is fully office based in Byker, Newcastle.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • · Proven experience in business readiness or change adoption roles.
  • · Strong knowledge of change management frameworks.
  • · Expertise in benefits validation and training coordination.
  • · Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
  • · Ability to assess and communicate change impacts clearly.
  • · Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • · Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple change initiatives simultaneously.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of client case progression in similar environments.
  • Experience in process mapping and operational workflows.
