Road accident management firm Winn Assist has been shortlisted for the second national award recognising the quality of its team in as many weeks.

The business is in the running for the hotly contested Claims Management Company Team of the Year award at the Claims Innovation Awards 2014.

The annual Claims Innovation Awards celebrate how firms, teams and individuals from across the legal services, claims management and associated industries continually find new ways of raising standards, growing businesses and improving access to justice.

Winn Assist’s team works closely with a national network of brokers to help their clients get back on their feet after road accidents by taking the complexity out of the rehabilitation process.

Winn oversees the entire post-accident process, including the setting up of medical checks and physiotherapy treatment, as well as handling repairs and the provision of a hire car.

Late last month Winn Assist was also shortlisted for the Outstanding Claims Management Team of the Year title at the Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards 2014 – with the winner announced on May 8th in London.

The Claims Innovation Awards 2014 ceremony takes place at the Midland Hotel, Manchester on Wednesday 21st May and is hosted by comedian TV celebrity Patrick Monahan.

Winn Assist was also shortlisted in last year’s Claims Innovation Awards and won the ABP Night of Knights Awards Repairers Choice title for best Accident Management Company in 2012.
