Congratulations are in order for Hannah Entwistle and Liam Davidson, who have been selected to undertake training contracts at Winn Solicitors.

Hannah, from High Wycombe, joined Winns two years ago as a Legal Clerk in the busy Portal Team. She is delighted that her hard work has paid off, and that she has been rewarded with a training contract. She said;

“I found the process of obtaining a training contract both rigorous and fair and there is a definite advantage to the fact Winns only advertised internally. Not only is there less competition that way, but the entirety of your work is taken into account and given merit, rather than simply a decision based on an interview.”

She continues;

“I’ve really enjoyed the last couple of years working at Winns and I’m excited about the new challenges and opportunities that starting my training contract will bring. I would love to work in the Trials Department on qualifying. I have a particular interest in dealing with complex cases so that would be the long-term goal for me upon qualification.”

Liam, from Walbottle, also began his career with Winns as a Legal Clerk in the Portal Team. He joined the firm one year ago and has made excellent progress. He said;

“My ambition is to become an accomplished Personal Injury Solicitor, and working at Winns has provided me with invaluable practical experience in this area. It is a great place to work – a great company with fantastic people.”

Joanne Blackwood, Senior Associate in the Clerks Team, added;
