Meet the Team: Customer Service Apprentice Izaak

Following National Apprenticeship Week, we thought we’d take the opportunity to talk to a couple of our current apprentices, to see what they value about apprenticeships and working with Winns.

Firstly, we spoke to Izaak who is a Customer Service apprentice with On Insurance. This is what he had to say.

When did you start your apprenticeship with On Insurance?
I started in February 2019.

What did you do before you joined?
I was working part-time in retail whilst I was at university studying Business Management.

Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship?
I chose to do an apprenticeship as I liked the idea of picking up a qualification whilst gaining experience in a full-time working environment.

Why did you choose to do your apprenticeship at On Insurance?
I chose this specific apprenticeship as I felt it suited my skill set and it also opens a lot of doors to the many other opportunities within Winn Group.

What do you enjoy about your apprenticeship with On Insurance?
I enjoy learning on the job and the atmosphere within the office. Everyone gets on and I can go to my manager and team leader with any queries or issues.

What would you like to do in the future?
I am still undecided but as things stand, I am just looking to progress in my current customer service role once my apprenticeship is finished. However, I am open to any other opportunities that may arise within the company.
