Winn Group is pleased to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of our Digital Marketing Manager, Amy Thompson.
Marking the occasion with flowers, champagne, and vouchers to spend, Amy has been one of the core group of employees who have made great strides with us.
Initially seeking to stay for two years and ‘gain some experience in management’ Amy has been enamoured by a progressive culture, a desire to improve the staff in Winn Group and the welcoming and collaborative culture at the company.
All of which has seen her dedicate a large chunk of her working life to Winns, something the company is thankful for.
Clint Milnes, Winn Group Chief Operating Officer, said; “Congratulations to Amy on reaching 10 years.
“Amy quietly and diligently goes about her work in a fashion that is often unnoticed and therefore is understated. Over the past decade, Amy has been integral to some of our most critical moments.
“Amy has been the hidden star behind many of our award wins and successful tenders.
“Our client events, such as the golf day and awards night, simply wouldn't happen without Amy and her team. All of this is achieved while maintaining a constant youthful and positive demeanour.
“Thank you, Amy, for all your hard work and dedication. Long may it continue!”
Leading a team that has moved from direct advertising to brand building and reputation enhancement, Amy has enjoyed a varied time at Winns, something all staff can expect in their respective roles with plenty of encouragement to progress careers and expand skillsets.
Amy said: “In the last decade we’ve created new brands, built and rebuilt so many websites, shared an inordinate amount of news and social posts, written countless tenders and proposals, won some fantastic awards and accolades, said goodbye to our old TV and radio advertising, coordinated events of all sizes including the first ever employee awards night (with the second fast approaching!), designed and printed hundreds of thousands of leaflets for brokers and bodyshops, packed up hundreds of new starter bags, and taken an inordinate amount of photos along the way.
“It’s been an eventful decade and one I didn’t intend to do – I only ever planned to stay for two years to gain experience as a manager before moving on, but here I am 10 years later with no intention of going anywhere anytime soon.”
