Liam Warren has been celebrating recently after his career moved past the decade milestone at Winn Group.

A Solicitor in the Litigation Team, he started out as a Personal Injury Clerk before progressing his legal ambitions through development and training that resulted in him achieving admission to the Roll of Solicitors.

Another outstanding example of an employee grasping the initiative and taking advantage of the varied development opportunities at the organisation, Liam began his training contract with us, qualified, and now holds a prominent position as part of our Litigation Team.

Adam Thorpe, Associate Director and Head of Litigation, said: “Congratulations to Liam on reaching the 10-year milestone with Winns.

“He is a pleasure to work with in the Litigation Team and has achieved numerous successes during his time with the firm, and I hope that continues for many years to come.”

Reflecting on his journey since 2015, Liam was thankful to his previous team leaders, as well as his current head of department, Adam, for their guidance.

He said: “I worked for three departments during my time in Winns, each department has offered many opportunities to do something different, learn new skills, and develop.

“As you can imagine, that meant plenty of seat moves. Honestly, I think I’ve had more seats and desks in Winns than I’ve had hot dinners!

“But that is just a testament to the opportunities available, and the firm’s adaptability to change and innovation, and its vision for growth.

“There are a whole host of reasons why my career has reached 10 years here, but the people, past and present, are major factors; I have managed to make some friends for life.

“The management team do a great job steering the ship in the right direction. Also, there is a great work-life balance at Winns that I don’t think is common in other law firms.”
