We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Accounts team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within a professional legal environment while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

About the Role:

As an Apprentice Accounts Payable Assistant, you will assist in the administration and processes required to ensure supplier invoices are allocated correctly and in a timely manner. This role also offers excellent training, development, and the opportunity to build a long-term career.

You will receive an apprentice salary of £17,140.50 and work 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, typically starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5pm, with no weekend working required!

Alongside your role, you’ll benefit from many benefits, including 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days each year!

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing supplier invoice mailboxes and re-direct them to the relevant automated platforms.
  • Supporting other group department queries relating to supplier invoices.
  • Reviewing all mailboxes for queries and deal with them appropriately.
  • Managing daily reports and imports accurately.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s grades 4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • Confidential and discreet.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Cooperative and flexible approach.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Commitment to own personal development.
