The first step out of university into the working world is often an important one.

For Daniel Strong, it turned out to be the start of a decade of development at Winn Group, where his career has been significantly enhanced.

From junior fee earner to qualified Solicitor and Team Leader in the Personal Injury Department, the journey from 2015 to now has not been lost on Daniel, who toasted a decade at the company recently.

He said: “When I first started, I was a young fresh-faced graduate. I’ve qualified with the support of the firm and grown into my role as a Team Leader within the Part 7 team!

“I’ve been encouraged to work towards my strengths throughout my career, no matter what team I’ve been in.

“The firm’s growth has really helped, but I’ve also appreciated the dedication the firm has given me. I qualified as a Solicitor and I’ve been encouraged to work my way up, through different departments, to the Team Leader role I am in now.

“I’m incredibly pleased to have gotten to 10 years with the company.”

After being presented with champagne, flowers, and vouchers to commemorate the occasion, his line managers were quick to praise his input and progression over the years.

David Dewar, Associate Director – Head of Commercial and Contested Litigation, said: “Danny is an absolute pleasure to work with, extremely well liked and a well thought of member of the management team. 

“He has also earned the respect of the wider team for his sage advice and guidance, together with his supportive management style. 

“Danny has worked hard, and continues to do so, demonstrating his dedication to further developing his practice as a Solicitor. While doing this, he has taken to his management role like a duck to water.

“He is also an active organiser of the department's social activities and simply a top man! Congratulations to Danny on achieving this fantastic 10-year milestone.”

Amy Graham, Associate Director – Deputy Head of Commercial and Contested Litigation, said: “It’s hard to believe that Danny has spent a decade with the business!

“His achievements have been well earned and are the result of hard work and dedication to his pursuit of becoming a qualified solicitor.

“I have taken pleasure in watching Danny mature from a junior fee earner in the MOJ portal team to qualify as a solicitor and join the Serious Injury Team before moving into a team leader position within the wider PI Department.
