Winn Group’s Head of IT Operations Mark Howell has been celebrating recently, after passing the 10-year marker at the company.

A key member of our IT Team, Mark has played his part over the years as the organisation has gone through exponential growth and a huge operational scale up that inevitably goes with such expansion, with his team, among others, tasked with providing technical solutions and the necessary infrastructure to keep Winn Group at the forefront of our sector.

Chris Birkett, Winn Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “Congratulations to Mark for reaching his 10-year work anniversary. 

“It is a fantastic achievement and the contribution Mark has made across all departments has been immense - here's to the next 10.”

Speaking of this notable career milestone, Mark said he’d enjoyed his time at Winns so far and is looking forward to a bright future.

He said: “It’s a great sense of achievement - 10 years is a long time, and the second company I have hit that milestone with.

“The business has grown significantly in the 10 years I have been here, and I’m very pleased to have been a part of it. Whilst there has been growth and change, there has always been a solid foundation with some great people behind it.

“There are new challenges every day, and the fast-paced nature of the business and desire to stay ahead of our competitors bring new opportunities.

“I’ve definitely felt encouraged and supported to develop over the years. There have been lots of opportunities to learn, take on responsibility, and grow in my role, which is one of the main reasons I’ve stayed here for a decade. 

“We are constantly changing and adapting to new challenges and technologies, and it’s a good time to be a part of that.”
