Paul Hewitson Celebrates 15-Year Anniversary

“Fifteen years later, I’m still excited to come to work each day, which I think says a lot about the people and culture at Winns.”

As a company, Winn Group understands that, for many workers, a clear career pathway is important.

Progression, learning, and creation of a career journey are all invaluable elements of a company that ensure our employees remain motivated and valued in their roles.

One such example of progression in the workplace is the journey taken by Paul Hewitson, our Deputy Head of FRT, who is set to become Head of Department.

Celebrating 15 years at the firm recently, Paul started as a Claims Handler, before progressing to FRT Team Leader, then FRT Assistant Manager and Deputy Head of the First Response Team.

That route shows a recognition of hard work, our encouragement of development, and a tangible promotion of career progression regardless of role and area of the business.

Paul said: “Looking back, I'm incredibly proud of what I've achieved during that time, but also very grateful for the opportunities I've been given.

“They say time flies when you're having fun, and I've genuinely enjoyed every stage of my journey at Winn Group.”

“Every year has brought a new challenge, new opportunity, or new way to develop.

“I owe a huge debt of gratitude to so many colleagues and friends from every department across Winn Group who have supported, challenged, encouraged and occasionally tolerated me over the years.

“The list really is endless, but it shows how many great people and friends I have made at Winns.

“Whatever I've achieved during my time here has only been possible because of the support of those around me.”

Chris Jones, Director and Head of Claims Operations, said: “It’s an incredible milestone - 15 years of Paul Hewitson as Deputy Head of FRT.

“Paul’s commitment, leadership, and unwavering support over the years have made a lasting impact on everyone he has worked with. Through every challenge and every success, he has been a steady, reliable presence, always leading with professionalism, integrity, and genuine care for people.

“His experience and guidance have helped shape the team into what it is today, and his influence can be seen not just in results, but in the confidence and development of those around him.

“Reaching 15 years is a testament to his dedication and the respect he has earned across the organisation. It’s an achievement well worth celebrating.

“Thank you, Paul, for everything you’ve given over the past 15 years - your contribution truly makes a difference.”
