Apprentice Profile: Keelie, Winn Solicitors

Keelie

Team Leader

Winn Group Apprenticeship start date: 2019, but I had to take a break due to maternity leave.

My study and jobs before apprenticeship: When I started my apprenticeship in management I had already qualified as a Solicitor and was a Team Leader in the Vehicle Damage Team at Winns.

I chose to do an apprenticeship because: I wanted to gain a recognised qualification in management and develop professionally.

I chose a Winn Group apprenticeship because: The apprenticeship is an additional qualification to compliment my current role as a Team Leader.

What I enjoy most about my Winn Group apprenticeship: I enjoy learning new things and the apprenticeship gives me the opportunity to see things from a different perspective.

The support I have received through my apprenticeship: My manager has championed the diploma from the start. He completed the diploma himself and felt like it would be beneficial for all Team Leaders.  He is always on hand if I have any questions.

My top tip for anyone considering doing an apprenticeship: The apprenticeship runs alongside your job so you need to be committed.
