Holly Ames continued her career progression in style after being awarded the Learning Curve Apprentice of the Year accolade.

In collaboration with apprentice provider Learning Curve, the award is given to an outstanding apprentice who has shown dedication to their studies while gaining real life experience in a role.

Holly has been with On Medical 24/7 – a part of Winn Group - as an apprentice for close to three years, with Covid restrictions delaying the completion of her course.

However, her tenacity and focus ensured she not only completed it but did so in impressive fashion.

Thanks to Winn Group’s variety of career pathway opportunities, Holly has now moved into a Customer Service Advisor role within On Medical 24/7 after impressing her colleagues.

Joanne Reid, her Team Leader, said: “Holly is a valued member of the team. She always gives 100% and completes any task set.

“She is very deserving of this award as she dedicated a lot of time to completing the apprenticeship.

“Even during the pandemic, whilst we were all working from home, Holly still took the time to ensure her work was completed to the highest standard.”

Holly was thankful for the supportive environment created at On Medical 24/7, one that encourages development among staff of all levels.

She said: “I was supported by my peers and On Med throughout my apprenticeship and allocated extra apprenticeship time if needed.

“The support given by the other apprentices, if I required any guidance/help with assignments, was also much appreciated.”

Winn Group has a number of apprenticeship positions available and tangible opportunities to progress within the firm, across a number of departments.
