Winn Group COO Celebrates Decade Milestone!

Winn Group Chief Operations Officer Clint Milnes celebrated a decade with the company recently and used this reflective moment to look forward to a bright future.

Back in 2016, Clint started as Head of Change Management, before stepping up to the roles of Group Director and Chief Information Officer, prior to a move into the Chief Operations Officer role most recently.

A constant source of enthusiasm and dynamism as we endeavour to reinforce our position as a market-leading company that embraces technological innovation, Clint has played an integral part in many projects that have enhanced how we work together and for the benefit of our customers.

Chris Birkett, Winn Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “Clint’s impact on the business in the last 10 years has been tremendous. He has shown leadership, commitment, loyalty, understanding and continues to support in all areas of the business.

“He has a lot of friends in the firm who I’m sure, with me, will congratulate him on this milestone.”

An important part of the organisation’s recent growth and evolution, the COO is optimistic for the future, with an agile operation ready to take on new larger challenges.

Clint said: “What we do well is we always have a 360° view of what’s going on.  We know our strong points, we know our shortfalls.  We know what’s happening around us.  We know when we can go full steam ahead, and we know when to pull back. That’s due to the fantastic people I work with.

“Whilst there may always be challenges in our industry, I feel that we are always on the front foot for these.  I’m optimistic because of the people around me and progressing within the firm.

“I love nothing more than going into someone’s room or meeting someone and them putting ideas forward with such enthusiasm.

“I feel that we have, coming through the ranks, an abundance of people who will drive Winns forward well beyond my tenure.”

As for what continues to motivate him 10 years into his time with Winn Group, an appreciation of a dynamic workforce featured highly.

He added: “I appreciate and value my colleagues and friends, because that is what many people are in work now, my friends, and I can count on one hand, during 10 years, where I woke up on a Monday morning and thought “ah, not today!”
