Do you want to further your career at Winn Group?

We are carrying out a big recruitment drive as we seek to find the right people to help us in an exciting period of transition and growth.

Looking to recruit over 100 people in the next 12 months, Winn Group can provide you with an environment of encouragement and development as you look to progress your career.

We chatted to four of our new starters, who began their Winn Group careers in our First Response Team, about their experiences, starting with Karen Moore.

Working as a sales advisor previously, Karen was keen to secure a role which helped people when they needed it most after a car accident.

“I decided to join Winns after speaking to my friend and colleague Stephen Clementson, who recommended me and said what a great company it was to work for!” she said.

“I enjoy helping people that have been involved in car accidents as it’s a stressful experience and I get job satisfaction from helping people.

“The additional income and potential for a bonus was a feature in the decision. I've enjoyed my time with the company so far and it’s great to find out how much I have in common with the other new starters that joined.

“Everyone has been friendly and helpful, and there's lots of ongoing support too.”

Benjamin Farry is also a recent new starter in our First Response Team, after time spent as a complaints advisor for Npower and a different role at Auxillis.

“Following my previous roles, Winns seemed to be the next step as they have great opportunities to grow within the business. The company was a big driving factor to me applying as it is a big company with great reviews,” he said.

“So far, I have loved my time at Winns; everyone seems so helpful and nice to speak to.

“I feel really welcomed here as everyone is willing to help; I’ve currently just started taking calls and never struggle to get the help I need.”

Mark Laidlaw also recently joined the company, re-joining after time spent away from Winns.

“I have worked here previously and wanted to come back to a company that seems to be growing even in these difficult times,” said Mark.

The hours (on nightshift) were something I really wanted to do; I get more time off with my son doing four days on and four days off. He loves it.

“It has been like I haven’t been away with the staff I know but the new faces have been really great too. I feel that management are fully aware of what we need to do our jobs and always willing to help and support if needed.”

James Thompson wanted a change of career path and found Winns to be the ideal place to take that next step.

“I wanted a change of pace and having gone through a car accident prior to applying, this line of work interests me massively and the help you can give people; the satisfaction from that is unbeatable,” he said.

“The support is fantastic here; no question is a stupid question, so it’s great to have that kind of support. I can see me building a solid career here due to me enjoying the work as much as I do.”
