Winns welcomes Gemma Moore, following her recent appointment as Costs Clerk on the Costs Team at the firm.

Gemma, from Northumberland, graduated from Sunderland University in 2008, with a degree in Law, before completing her Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University.

Prior to joining Winns, Gemma worked for Quantum Elite, a small costs firm, dealing with fast track costs, as well as two high street solicitors where she gained experienced of civil claims and conveyancing.

In her new role in the Costs Team, Gemma will be responsible for dealing primarily with fixed recoverable costs and MOJ costs.

Gemma said;

“I recently decided to return to legal costs as this is an area of law that I find interesting, as it is quickly evolving. I feel very lucky to be part of a great team, and I am looking forward to progressing my career with Winns.”
