Sarah Hepple and Leanne Duffy have recently been awarded training contracts with Winns.

Sarah, from County Durham, and Leanne, from Dundee, both joined Winns in 2015 as Legal Clerks. Sarah worked in the Portal department, while Leanne started off in the LVI team, before moving to Portal.

Prior to joining the firm, Leanne completed her LLB in Scots Law at the University of Dundee, followed by her CPE and LPC at Staffordshire University. Sarah undertook her LLB in Law at Teesside University and will complete her LPC at Northumbria University alongside her training contract.

Sarah said;

“I am excited to start my new role as a Trainee Solicitor. I am looking forward to going to university for the professional skills course and developing my skill set through my seats within other departments. In the future, I hope to develop my career within the firm and would like to progress my knowledge even further by working with more complex claims.

“I am a strong believer in ‘individual commitment to group effort – that is what makes a team work.’ The strong and successful teamwork shown within Winns contributes to the running of a successful and highly competitive business.”

Leanne added;

“I can’t wait to start my training contract, I’m eager to get started and get stuck in. I love working for Winn Solicitors, due to the progression and development opportunities for staff. I am looking forward to learning more about the different departments we have once I commence my training contract. Once I’m qualified, I hope to progress within the firm.”
