Winn Solicitors is very pleased to announce that the total funds raised for local charity The Chronicle Sunshine Fund stands at £2,409.32!
The Sunshine Fund provides specialised equipment to children with disabilities in the North East of England. Their tireless work is evident year round with many local celebrities and businesses getting involved with this fantastic cause.
Established in 1928 by King George V, the Sunshine Fund came about after the monarch donated £15 to give underprivileged local children a day out to the coast. The Chronicle adopted the idea and it has been a great success ever since.
Winns took part in the Sunshine Run on the 26th June and “went bananas” by hosting a fancy dress Friday as part of the fundraising efforts. A huge well done to the whole team!
