Lucy Makes Secondment Permanent

That can look different to each individual and so we seek to ensure a wide range of training and development opportunities, as well as the chance to take up secondments in different departments across the organisation.

An option taken by Lucy Donnelly, she is making her secondment from the Customer Service Team into the Telephony section of the IT Team permanent, taking on the role of Group Contact Centre Infrastructure Engineer.

After conducting the role temporarily as a new communications platform was integrated into the process here at Winn Group, Lucy is looking forward to a more technical role going forward after enjoying the experience.

She said: “I have really enjoyed the technical side of the role. The introduction of Puzzel allowed me to develop my technical skills massively and I have contributed to a large percentage of the Puzzel and Mitel infrastructure.    

“In addition, the role has allowed me to work more closely with other departments and help them to further develop multimedia capabilities in their departments.

“As we look at future technologies, the need for people with such skills is imminent. And as the business continues to grow, we must focus on efficiencies - Puzzel is a key player in achieving many efficiencies across Winn Group.”

She moves on from her previous role as Customer Service Team Manager.
