The people make a company what it is, and Ami Anderson is testament to that.

After 15 years at Winn Group, Ami was welcomed back from maternity leave with a bouquet of flowers, vouchers, and a bottle of champagne to mark the milestone moment.

Perhaps still adjusting to a return to working life, Ami admitted the anniversary had totally slipped her mind but she was delighted to receive the gifts from management in the Personal Injury department.

Starting as an Office Junior back in 2007, Ami has progressed her career with Winns and is now a Chartered Legal Executive Team Leader based in the Saxon House building.

She said: “I was actually on maternity leave on my 15-year anniversary so to be presented with gifts on my first day back in the office was a lovely surprise.

“I hadn’t realised I had made it to 15 years – how time flies! The company was very different when I first started 15 years ago. We were based in a small office on Heaton Road with around 30 staff. It is amazing how much Winns has grown in the time I have been here.”

But what is it that has encouraged Ami to stay for so long?

She added: “I have worked with, and continue to work with, some amazing people here at Winns, some of whom have become lifelong friends outside of work.

“It is the people here that make Winns what it is, and I have had great support from management over the years too.”
