Qualification Celebrations for Nikita and Katy

'}}

Congratulations are in order for newly qualified Solicitors Nikita Bos and Katy Jones.

Nikita, from Seaham, and Katy, from Nenthead, both studied Law at Northumbria University, before joining Winn Solicitors as Legal Clerks in 2012. As a result of their hard work and dedication, they were both subsequently offered training contracts.

During her training contract, Nikita joined the Litigation Team, where she is now working as a Solicitor. Her role involves providing advice and guidance to colleagues, reviewing case outcomes and enquiries, development of business strategy and the case management of appeals.

Since qualifying, Katy has moved from the Clerks Team to the Trials Team, where she is working as a Solicitor, handling disputed personal injury claims.

Nikita said;

“My training contract helped me to significantly develop my knowledge and skills as a legal professional. Qualifying as a Solicitor has been the biggest achievement of my life. I am so proud that I have been able to achieve my goal to become a qualified solicitor as this is something I have wanted to do since I was seven years old.”

Katy added;

“I really enjoyed my training contract, particularly attending university to develop my legal skills and learn more about the role of a Solicitor. It felt amazing to complete the training contract and qualify – it is a huge achievement for me and I feel that all the hard work has paid off! Given how competitive the legal graduate job market is, I felt very lucky to secure a training contract and thereafter to be offered a position at Winns.”

Deputy Head of the Trials Team, Emily Sunderland said;

“Congratulations to Katy on qualifying as a Solicitor and joining the Trials team. This is a fantastic achievement, and a testament to her hard work and dedication. We look forward to watching her grow and develop in her career with the firm.”

Head of Litigation Amy Graham added;

“We are delighted that Nikita has qualified as a Solicitor. She is a valued member of the Litigation Team, and has gone from strength to strength in her career with Winns so far. Well done Nikita!”
