Having both started at Winns as Claims Handlers five years ago, congratulations are in order for Stephannie Harrison and Jake Robinson who have been promoted to Team Leaders in Winn Solicitors’ First Response Team.

Commenting on their earliest Winns memories, they recall the great training they received which gave them a solid foundation from which to assist the team. Jake commented;

“Once I was fully trained, I hit targets monthly from then on, and gave the best I could to help the team. This would not have been possible without the support of the management team in FRT, who helped me progress and pass on my skills to others to help Winns achieve its targets and goals.”

Stephannie went on to spend time at the On Hire part of Winn Group where she learnt about invoicing and instructing repairs. She reflected;

“I have always been fully supported to make my own decisions and was given responsibility even prior to

my promotion as I would help with training and give feedback on staff.”

In their new roles they will supervise and support colleagues in fulfilling Winns’ objectives. Both are looking forward to being the ones to be approached for advice and authority when team members are uncertain, with Stephannie adding;

“I’m looking to progress the staff under my supervision, ensuring they are capitalising on every opportunity

and instilling a great work ethic within my team.”

Jake and Stephannie agree that the best thing about working for Winn Group is the people with whom they have formed friendships and socialise with outside of work. Stephannie added;

“Everyone is very friendly and gets on with each other and I’ve also made some great friends. There’s always

support available as and when it is needed.”

As for staff benefits, ‘Beer Friday’ is top of Jake’s list while Stephannie is a fan of being able to use the gym.

In addition, highlighting one of the Winn Group core values, Stephannie and Jake both emphasised their respect and thanks to both management and their teams, with Deputy Head of the First Response Team, Paul Hewitson,

reciprocating the sentiment saying;

“Steph and Jake have both been committed members of FRT and proved their reliability and loyalty to Winns. It’s good to welcome them to the FRT Management Team. They have both hit the ground running, and already shown that they will be a great support to everyone in FRT as we continue to expand to meet the needs of our clients and partners.”
