Team Seniors Growing into New Roles

At Winn Group, we don’t just look to attract staff but to keep them with us as we expand and diversify. Career progression is fundamental to this.

That’s why we have such great pride in our latest set of Team Seniors within the First Response Department (FRT), who have accepted promotions and new challenges in their careers recently.

Over the last 12 months, the following people have moved into new roles of responsibility and developed their careers with Winns:

Head of FRT Chris Jones said: “As the company has grown, we needed to promote Team Seniors to keep achieving our goals in the department.

“The promotion of the current Seniors is recognition of the great work they’ve done, and continue to do.”

For Deputy Head of FRT Paul Hewitson, it has been a great opportunity to see staff rewarded for their efforts, while ensuring they continue developing their careers with Winn Group.

He said: “In November last year, after a big increase in the volume of new claims coming into Winns and a large intake of new staff, we decided to promote some of our more knowledgeable FRT staff to Team Seniors. 

“We initially selected six team members who had demonstrated their loyalty and dedication to FRT, and who had a wealth of experience/knowledge in Winns’ legal processes and RTA claims. 

“Those selected as Team Seniors exhibited great coaching and mentoring skills, having already stepped up to support less experienced colleagues by easing their integration into FRT.

“They all had a passion for ensuring everyone did their best, and that FRT excelled as a team.  

“I am very proud when I see hard-working staff within our team develop their skills. It’s great to see them gaining extra responsibility and getting rewarded with progression into more senior roles.  

“For me, observing the very evident prestige and sense of achievement they gain, and seeing them grow in confidence and stature within the department, makes me smile and makes my job even more worthwhile!”
