Thanks to the efforts of those who contributed to the Winn Group Christmas raffle, we’ve raised a significant amount to be donated to Tiny Lives.
Our chosen charity of the year will receive £2,093 after hundreds of staff entered the raffle, hoping to win a range of prizes.
Ross Jackson, CSR Deputy Lead, said: “It’s a fantastic amount and a great example of the CSR process in action here at Winn Group.
“The CSR team deserves a lot of credit for bringing the plan to fruition in such a short space of time, as well as selling so many tickets! Well done to them.
“Together we can make a big difference to the work of Tiny Lives and I know they will appreciate this donation in the run-up to Christmas.”
The company also hosted a Christmas Jumper Day recently. With a range of festive knitwear on display, staff collectively donated £250.20 to our chosen charity of the year, Tiny Lives.
Our annual donation drive also concluded recently. In aid of the Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas Appeal, the aim was to donate presents for children living in poverty, deprivation, or neglect, so they had something to open on Christmas Day.
A fantastic amount was donated across our office sites, with two vehicles needed to transport all the presents!
We’ve still got time for one final festive fundraising event when our Christmas Eve pizza buffet will be hosted. We hope to raise yet more funds for Tiny Lives.
Ross Jackson, CSR Deputy Lead, said: “It has been a brilliant, collective effort from our staff to arrange, facilitate, and donate to our respective charity campaigns.
“Our staff have done themselves proud and great credit should also go to the CSR Team we have in place who made it all possible.”
