Due to a rapid expansion of the Vehicle Damage Team, four members of the department have been promoted to Team Leader roles at Winn Group.

Congratulations to Victoria Bacchus, Jenny Banfi, Christopher McGowan, and Sean Wilson for the promotion to a senior position.

Rebecca Colby, Deputy Head of the Vehicle Damage Team, said: “We are delighted to offer promotions to Team Leader to several of our Senior Fee Earners.

“As Fee Earners, they have made significant contributions not only to recoveries but to the development and progression of the team.

“Their promotions to Team Leader evidence their hard work and commitment and we look forward to watching their careers develop further with the business.”

As they settle into their new roles, we caught up with them after the latest step in their career development at Winn Group.

Jenny Banfi said: “I was not expecting the role to be released but when it was I was determined to go for it.

“I have been with Winns for almost six years, working up from the old client care team to litigation, then onto fast-track and multi-track claims.

“Although I loved and enjoyed my fee earner role, I was definitely ready for a new challenge.”

Christopher McGowan said: “I was delighted to become a Team Leader in the Vehicle Damage department.

“It was good to be recognised for my hard work throughout my time here so far. So, I would say there is always opportunity to progress at Winns; you just need to apply the effort and show your willingness to progress.”

Sean Wilson said: “I hope to pass on all the knowledge and skills that I have gained over the years and give my team the tools and training to become great at their jobs and to ultimately generate greater revenue for the business.

“Additional responsibilities for this role include managing a team which is a mixture of new and experienced staff, developing my team members, and providing them with the knowledge and training to progress their files.”
