Fast-growing accident management specialist Winn Solicitors has appointed Mike Brown to its sales team as part of its continued expansion.

Mike brings with him a wide range of skills and experience, much of it gained during his 15 years at AA Insurance Services in Newcastle.

Here he was responsible for over 500 staff and played a key role in building the number of policies held by its Homesure insurance operation from 10,000 to 500,000.

Mike’s subsequent move to RAC in Manchester brought with it similar levels of success, including his part in increasing insurance renewals to the value of an extra £500,000 in profits.

Since then he has held a number of other insurance industry positions including at Willis Corroon, where he was responsible for implementing a large home insurance scheme with Sainsbury's Homebase.

Other roles include personal lines director at financial services company Swire Renshaw, where he ran the Hondacare motor scheme with 30,000 Honda motor insurance clients.

Mike joins Winn from Lexelle Limited where he was sales director. He says;

The appointment comes as the firm is expanding its range of services, including most recently a service aimed at fleet-reliant businesses. The firm also recently received accreditation from charity Action on Hearing Loss to provide services to those with hearing difficulties who are involved in road accidents
